State Capitol Building Rennovation - Lincoln, Nebraska

Midland Engineering Company of South Bend, Indiana contacted EHK International for a custom made 304 Stainless toggle bolt that was a non stock, specialty item. Working with Midland's Management and Project Managers, EHK was able to build a prototype of this part within weeks of the initial sketches being created.  When the project required mass production of parts, EHK built a relationship with an assembler in Kansas City, Missouri to handle the final assembly of all sourced components. EHK's QA/QC ensured that each part was torqued to exacting standards and assembled per the provided print.  The Kansas City location was strategic from a delivery standpoint as it was only 190 miles from the job site and could have same day deliveries if necessary. Through our client focused approach coupled with our ability to close the supply chain we were able to reduce Midland's expense on this part by over $100,000 US Dollars over alternate quotations and they recieved a completed, superior quality part.
